Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor and assess patient vitals, labs, and overall condition continuously
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and life-saving interventions
• Collaborate with intensivists, pulmonologists, and the broader care team
• Support and educate patients and families during difficult moments
• Document care accurately and advocate for your patients' needs

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in Louisiana
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS strongly preferred for ICU
• ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred
• Ability to think quickly and stay calm in high-pressure situations
• Compassion, clear communication, and a team-first mindset

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in using ventilators, cardiac monitors, and critical care equipment
• Strong clinical judgment and rapid decision-making
• Knowledge of evidence-based critical care protocols and best practices
• Effective communication with patients, families, and team members
• Comfortable with starting IVs, titrating drips, and managing complex patients
