Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM), every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional critical care to trauma, cardiac, and stroke patients in a 33-bed ICU
Titrate cardiac, insulin, and sedation drips with precision and confidence
Interpret and document cardiac monitor strips using GE monitoring system
Float to PCU and MedSurg units as needed, maintaining appropriate patient ratios
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2-3 for adult patients

Qualifications

Active RN license (Nebraska or compact state required)
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
At least 1 year of recent ICU experience
Valid driver's license to verify distance from facility
Willingness to float to PCU and MedSurg units

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in titrating cardiac, insulin, and sedation drips
Experience with ventilator management from nasal cannula to vent
Ability to interpret and document cardiac rhythm strips
Knowledge of trauma, cardiac, stroke, sepsis, and renal failure protocols
