Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
• Assist physicians during colonoscopies, upper GI procedures, and other endoscopies
• Monitor patient vital signs and sedation levels throughout procedures
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care instructions
• Ensure a safe, sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida (or compact license eligible)
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent Endoscopy or GI Lab RN experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of endoscopic equipment and procedures
• Proficiency in sedation administration and monitoring
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment
• Understanding of sterile technique and infection prevention
