Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care including triage, assessment, and treatment of acute patients
• Perform advanced procedures such as bedside cardioversion, procedural sedation, splinting, and assist with intubation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate documentation and communication
• Maintain a calm, efficient environment during high-acuity situations

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC certification required
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• TNCC preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, 12-bed ED
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR and GE monitors
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
