Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a dynamic ED setting
• Assess and triage patients quickly and accurately
• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform life-saving interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to deliver optimal care
• Document patient information and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Louisiana in good standing
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent emergency department experience preferred
• Ability to handle high-stress situations with composure

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in emergency nursing procedures and protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
