Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical abilities and limitations to design personalized treatment plans
• Implement evidence-based physical therapy techniques to restore function, relieve pain, and improve mobility
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment goals, home programs, and injury prevention
• Collaborate with the care team to integrate therapy into the patient's overall recovery journey
• Supervise therapy aides, assistants, and students to ensure high-quality care
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Iowa (must be currently active)
• Graduate of an APTA-accredited program with a certificate, master's, or doctoral degree in physical therapy
• Current BLS/BCLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Physical Therapist
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions

Education

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited college or university with a certificate, master's degree, or doctorate in physical therapy

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and modality application
• Basic computer skills and comfort with EMR systems (Point Click preferred)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, regulatory environment
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Sensitivity to confidential patient information
