Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of women in labor and emergency situations
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs
• Provide skilled interventions and ongoing evaluation in a fast-paced Women's Emergency Room
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care aligned with ANA standards
• Assist with patient lifting, transfers, and transport using wheelchairs or stretchers

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Rhode Island
• Minimum 2 years of LDR (Labor, Delivery, Recovery) experience required
• Willingness and experience to work in a Women's Emergency Room setting
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIH Stroke, and NRP
• Ability to assist with patient lifting and transfers

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert assessment and care planning for labor and emergency patients
• Strong clinical judgment and intervention skills
• Proficient in EPIC documentation
• Knowledge of patient lifting and transfer techniques
