Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of surgical procedures including open heart and orthopedic surgeries
• Prepare and maintain sterile field in a busy OR department
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Manage instrument and supply inventory for multiple surgeries daily
• Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of OR experience in a busy department
• BLS certification required
• EPIC experience is a must
• DCI/BVP certification required or ability to obtain
• Must be able to take call and work rotating weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
• Proficiency in EPIC EHR system
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
