Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures by scrubbing and monitoring hemodynamic data
• Prepare procedure rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, ensuring everything is ready for each case
• Monitor and maintain par levels of inventory, ordering supplies as needed
• Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement initiatives
• Help train new staff members and contribute to a collaborative team environment
• Support both invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures with precision and care

Qualifications

• ARRT-R certification (or RCIS) and state license required
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Interventional Radiology department
• BCLS (AHA) certification required upon hire
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• Completion of a cardiovascular technologist training program preferred
• Proficient computer skills

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring
• Ability to scrub and monitor procedures effectively
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in using computer systems for documentation and inventory management
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
