Shift Type: Various shifts available: 4 x 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM or 5 x 8-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, with 10-15 on-call shifts per month for STEMI/Stroke coverage.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
• Monitor and assess patients during procedures
• Administer medications and manage sedation
• Assist physicians with angioplasty, stent placement, and other interventions
• Respond to STEMI and stroke alerts as part of on-call team
• Ensure radiation safety and sterile technique

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey (compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• DCI/BVP certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures
• Hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
• Radiation safety and protection practices
• Patient assessment and emergency response
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
