Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to patients on a medical-surgical unit
• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
• Monitor vital signs and recognize changes in patient status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure positive outcomes
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
• Document care accurately and timely in electronic health records

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Tennessee (or compact state) in good standing
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• ACLS certification preferred for certain patient populations
• Strong clinical skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles and procedures
• Proficiency in EHR systems and documentation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Time management and organizational skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
