Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care to adult and geriatric populations during cardiovascular procedures
• Provide holistic support addressing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs in a surgical environment
• Collaborate closely with physicians, offering continuous updates on patient status
• Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, ensuring all equipment is functioning and ready
• Manage supplies and inventory, gathering case-specific materials for efficient workflow
• Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Continuously assess and document patient condition in the Cardiovascular Lab
• Support quality initiatives and participate in performance improvement activities

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nursing (RN) license in Illinois
• BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications upon hire and maintained
• Minimum one year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care area

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care and cardiovascular procedures
• Hemodynamic monitoring and quality improvement
• Critical care experience and cardiac procedure knowledge
