MRI Technologist - Travel Contract
Location: Kealakekua, Hawaii
Start Date: 08-17-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Variable shifts, including days, evenings, or nights; 12-hour shifts may be required, includes weekends and holidays
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders and protocols
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
- Maintain and calibrate MRI equipment, reporting any issues promptly
- Collaborate with radiologists to optimize image quality and diagnostic accuracy
- Document patient information and procedure details accurately in the EMR
Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification in MRI (ARRT(R)(MR) or equivalent)
- Current BLS/BCLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience
- Hawaii state license to practice as a radiologic technologist (must be currently active)
- Strong communication and patient care skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in MRI safety protocols and patient screening
- Experience with Siemens MRI equipment preferred
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology recognition
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
