Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders and protocols
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
• Maintain and calibrate MRI equipment, reporting any issues promptly
• Collaborate with radiologists to optimize image quality and diagnostic accuracy
• Document patient information and procedure details accurately in the EMR

Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification in MRI (ARRT(R)(MR) or equivalent)
• Current BLS/BCLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience
• Hawaii state license to practice as a radiologic technologist (must be currently active)
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in MRI safety protocols and patient screening
• Experience with Siemens MRI equipment preferred
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology recognition
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
