Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist
• Operate linear accelerators and other radiation equipment safely
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Collaborate with the oncology team to ensure high-quality patient care
• Provide emotional support and education to patients undergoing radiation therapy

Qualifications

• Active Arizona state license as a Radiation Therapist
• BLS/BCLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in radiation therapy
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in delivering external beam radiation
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
