Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate ionizing equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of body regions for diagnostic purposes
• Evaluate radiographs to ensure optimal diagnostic information is acquired for each examination
• Communicate effectively with patients and an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Follow established departmental procedures and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate independent judgment to acquire the best possible images, especially in emergent situations

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited 24-month course of study program in Radiologic Technology
• Active ARRT certification required
• Active Montana Radiologic Technologist License from the Board of Radiologic Technologists
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in diagnostic imaging
• Evidence of compliance with ARRT continuing education requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited 24-month course of study program in Radiologic Technology

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in Diagnostic Imaging and Radiologic Technology
• Experience with X-ray equipment and Point Click EMR system
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use independent judgment and work autonomously
• Capable of handling emergent situations calmly and effectively
