Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert oncology nursing care in a busy medical oncology clinic setting
• Educate patients and families about chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments
• Coordinate care with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure best outcomes
• Monitor patients for side effects and manage symptoms proactively
• Administer non-infusion oncology treatments and support clinical trials
• Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate on treatment plans

Qualifications

• Active Colorado RN license or compact state license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Card required
• Strong communication and patient education skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in oncology nursing principles and chemotherapy/biotherapy management
• Skilled in patient assessment, symptom management, and care coordination
• Proficient in electronic medical records and documentation
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinic environment
• Compassionate approach to patient and family support
