Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 3 12-hour day shifts per week (typically 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) plus 2 on-call shifts per week. Schedule includes weekends and holidays as needed.

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care in the Emergency Department from admission to discharge
• Utilize accepted standards and protocols including ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and BLS
• Achieve positive patient outcomes through clinical pathways
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality emergency care
• Maintain a safe and compassionate environment for patients and families

Qualifications

• Current and active RN license in Colorado (or compact state)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Critical Access Hospital experience preferred
• Must have ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and participate in on-call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficient in emergency nursing procedures and trauma care
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Adaptability to a fast-paced, rural hospital setting
• Proficiency with Point Click EMR system
