Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry strips with confidence
Titrate cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone per physician orders
Provide compassionate care for ED holds awaiting placement on med/surg/tele units
Collaborate with the care team to ensure smooth transitions for patients
Float to med/surg/tele/overflow units and sister campuses as needed to support the team

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac telemetry experience within the last 6 months
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam through RELIAS within 48 hours of offer
Comfortable with a PASS/FAIL SIM LAB on day one of orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
Experience decreasing cardiac drips within physician parameters
Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips independently
Flexibility to float between campuses and units
Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication
