Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplants
Monitor and interpret EKGs using Philips equipment while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
Collaborate with a dedicated Charge Nurse and PCT team to maintain excellent 1:3-4 patient ratios
Float to sister telemetry units when needed, expanding your skills across Neuro Tele and more
Complete required SIMs Lab training for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Support patients through pre-transplant evaluations, esophagectomies, and ER overflow situations

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum one year of Level 1 trauma cardiac telemetry experience
Must pass dysrhythmia exam with up to two attempts before start
Ability to interpret EKGs and manage non-titrating drips
Clean driving record and reliable personal transportation for travel teams

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
Cerner EMR documentation skills
Comfort with CPAP, high-flow oxygen, and ventilator support
Excellent sterile technique for Foley and central line procedures
Flexibility to float across multiple telemetry units
