Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical and functional status to develop personalized care plans
• Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve mobility and strength
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercise programs
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress
• Adapt treatment approaches to meet individual patient goals and abilities

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in New Mexico or ability to obtain prior to start
• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy practices
• Skilled in patient assessment and treatment planning
• Ability to use therapeutic equipment and modalities
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
