Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
• Take and record vital signs, patient histories, and symptoms
• Administer medications and perform basic clinical tasks as directed
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and manage patient flow
• Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families
• Coordinate referrals, lab orders, and follow-up appointments

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) strongly preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Previous experience in a hospital or outpatient clinic is a plus
• Excellent communication and patient service skills
• Ability to work per diem schedule based on facility needs

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical skills including vital signs, injections, and EKG
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
