Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem shifts, 9.5 hours per shift; schedule varies based on facility needs
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Take and record vital signs, patient histories, and symptoms
- Administer medications and perform basic clinical tasks as directed
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and manage patient flow
- Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families
- Coordinate referrals, lab orders, and follow-up appointments
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) strongly preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Previous experience in a hospital or outpatient clinic is a plus
- Excellent communication and patient service skills
- Ability to work per diem schedule based on facility needs
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical skills including vital signs, injections, and EKG
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
