Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment
• Position patients accurately and ensure their safety and comfort during exams
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to produce optimal images
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Follow strict radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself
• Assist with patient orientation and provide reassurance throughout the imaging process

Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification in Radiography
• Current Minnesota state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Experience in a hospital or clinical imaging setting preferred, but new grads are welcome
• Ability to relate to patients and families in a compassionate, professional manner

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and protection principles
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Familiarity with electronic health records and PACS systems
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate diagnostic images
