Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs
• Document patient progress accurately and communicate updates to the therapy team
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
• Maintain therapy equipment and ensure a safe treatment environment

Qualifications

• Current Washington State Physical Therapist Assistant license
• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Experience in outpatient or acute care settings preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation techniques
• Proficiency in patient assessment and documentation
• Understanding of insurance and billing procedures
• Ability to modify treatment plans based on patient response
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
