Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, Day shift (hours to be confirmed)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement therapeutic exercises and activities under the supervising PT's direction
- Help residents improve mobility, balance, and functional independence
- Provide compassionate, one-on-one support during gait training and transfers
- Accurately document patient progress and communicate with the care team
- Educate residents and families to support ongoing success at home
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in New Mexico, or eligibility to obtain
- New graduates strongly encouraged to apply
- Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric rehab is a plus, but not required
- A caring, patient, and reliable nature
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of rehabilitative exercises and functional training techniques
- Ability to work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Strong communication skills with residents, families, and team members
- Empathy and creativity in adapting activities to each resident's needs
