Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during exams, procedures, and adjustments
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Take and process dental X-rays as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Support a smooth patient flow and a welcoming office environment

Qualifications

• Orthodontic Certification required
• Dental assisting experience, ideally in orthodontics
• Current knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Friendly, patient-focused communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a busy dental office

• Orthodontic procedures and treatments

• Infection control and sterilization protocols
• Patient education and chairside manner
• Electronic dental records and scheduling software
