Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional preventive dental care, including cleanings, scaling, and prophylaxis
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and personalized care plans
• Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and care
• Collaborate with dentists to assess patient needs and treatment goals
• Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring a comfortable, safe environment
• Adhere to strict infection control and sterilization protocols

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and patient-education abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced dental setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Knowledge of dental radiography and safety standards
• Familiarity with electronic dental records (EDR) systems
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients
• Understanding of infection control best practices
