Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients
• Perform thorough cleanings and periodontal assessments
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide when needed
• Take and interpret dental x-rays
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized operatory
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience as a dental hygienist preferred
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to upholding infection control and safety standards

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Proficiency with dental software and charting systems
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and sterilization protocols
• Excellent patient interaction and chair-side manner
• Attention to detail in clinical documentation
