Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by supervising Physical Therapists
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises to improve mobility, strength, and function
• Document patient progress and adjust treatments as directed
• Collaborate with a caring rehab team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe movement techniques
• Support patients on their recovery journey with compassion and encouragement

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in California (or active compact license)
• CPR certification required
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Previous rehab or skilled nursing experience is a plus
• A positive, patient-focused attitude and excellent communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of rehabilitative therapy techniques and modalities
• Skill in documenting patient progress in compliance with regulations
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong time management and organization skills
• Empathy and patience when working with patients of all ages
