Pharmacist – UHC Staffing

Location: Glenwood Springs, CO

Start Date: 06-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating day/evening shift working 40-hours per week. Rotating Weekends working 0700-1200. May also include some 3rd shift (overnight) on an as needed basis.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $94 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and dispense medication orders per physician request
Maintain medication stock in patient care areas
Ensure safe, appropriate, cost-effective medication therapies for patients
Interpret medication orders and maintain computerized patient medication profiles
Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals, including IV admixture preparations

Qualifications

Active CO PHA License in good standing
Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree
BLS (American Heart Association) certification
ACLS (American Heart Association) certification
3 years of experience in pharmacy

Education

BS Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy

Knowledge & Skills

Medication management
Pharmaceutical compounding
Clinical consultation
EPIC experience
