Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during procedures and treatments
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to ensure a safe environment
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Provide comfort and reassurance to young patients
• Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene practices
• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver exceptional care

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
• Experience working with children in a dental setting is a plus
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
• Strong interpersonal skills to connect with kids and families
• Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and a passion for pediatric oral health

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Familiarity with dental software and patient record management
• Understanding of dental x-ray procedures and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Team collaboration and active listening
• Time management and organizational abilities
