Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during procedures and examinations
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
• Ensure a clean and organized clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification or license (as required by state)
• Prior experience in a dental office preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Current CPR/BLS certification is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Proficient with dental software and electronic health records
• Skill in patient interaction and chairside assistance
• Attention to detail for infection control and safety protocols
