Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing to keep patients' smiles healthy
• Take and develop dental radiographs, ensuring diagnostic quality while maintaining safety
• Document patient care accurately and update health histories
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Assist the dentist during procedures with instrument preparation and patient comfort
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, compliant clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Dental Hygienist license required
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-first approach
• Ability to adapt quickly to a new office and team

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical skills in dental hygiene procedures
• Knowledge of dental radiography and safety protocols
• Understanding of infection control and OSHA standards
• Proficiency with dental charting and electronic records
• Compassionate patient education and chairside manner
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental practice
