Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional dental hygiene care including cleanings, examinations, and preventive treatments
• Take and develop high-quality dental x-rays to support accurate diagnoses
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and overall health
• Collaborate with the dentist to provide comprehensive patient care
• Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment, adhering to infection control standards
• Accurately document patient histories and treatment notes

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania (PA)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Previous experience in a dental office is a plus but not required
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures (scaling, root planing, prophylaxis)
• Radiography certification and experience with digital x-rays
• Knowledge of dental software for patient records
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Understanding of infection control and OSHA standards
• Ability to educate and motivate patients
