Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to promote optimal oral health
• Screen patients for oral diseases and educate them on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Take and review dental X-rays to detect underlying oral health issues
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately
• Assist the dentist during procedures while ensuring patient comfort
• Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Wisconsin
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience with dental imaging and electronic health records
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work evening shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene practices and sterilization protocols
• Skills in patient education and chair-side assistance
• Proficient with dental software and radiography
• Understanding of infection control standards
• Excellent interpersonal and documentation abilities
