Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during exams and procedures to ensure smooth patient flow
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatory rooms
• Take and process dental radiographs as needed
• Document patient care accurately in Denticon
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
• Maintain inventory of orthodontic supplies and materials

Qualifications

• Must be orthodontic certified
• Dental assisting experience required
• Proficiency with Denticon software is required
• Current radiography certification (if applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of orthodontic procedures and instruments
• Excellent patient communication and chairside manner
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dental office
• Attention to detail with documentation and sterilization protocols
• Teamwork and adaptability
