Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and intervene promptly when needed
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments with precision
• Partner with physicians and care teams to create individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on discharge planning and health management
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in California
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• One or more years of recent med-surg/telemetry nursing experience
• Telemetry or cardiac monitoring experience preferred
• Ability to think critically and stay calm under pressure
• Compassion and strong communication skills

• Cardiac rhythm recognition and interpretation
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Patient assessment, care planning, and prioritization
• Electronic medical records (EMR) charting
• Collaboration and interdisciplinary communication
• Adaptability and quick problem-solving in a dynamic environment
