Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional dental cleanings and preventive care to every patient who sits in your chair
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and help them maintain healthy smiles
• Collaborate with the assigned dental assistant to keep each half-hour appointment running smoothly and on time
• Maintain accurate, detailed records of patient care while following privacy regulations
• Adhere strictly to infection control and sterilization protocols to ensure a safe and comfortable environment
• Work closely with the dentist and team to provide a positive, caring experience for all patients

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New Jersey (NJ)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication skills with a patient-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a busy dental practice
• Reliable transportation to Union, NJ for this local assignment
• A passion for helping patients achieve optimal oral health

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough understanding of dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapies
• Strong knowledge of dental instruments and their proper usage
• Skill in patient education and chairside manner
• Familiarity with dental software for charting and patient records
• Knowledge of OSHA and infection control guidelines
• Excellent organizational skills to manage half-hour appointment slots
