Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and prophylaxis for patients
• Assess patients' oral health and educate on proper hygiene techniques
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
• Document patient care and medical history accurately
• Assist the dentist during procedures when required
• Maintain a sterile and safe clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in clinical dental hygiene practice
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Skilled in patient education and oral health counseling
• Proficient with dental software for charting and documentation
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Excellent interpersonal skills with patients and staff
