Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care by performing thorough dental cleanings and assessments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and preventive care
• Take and develop dental X-rays while ensuring patient comfort
• Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile environment
• Document patient care accurately and maintain confidential records
• Collaborate with the dental team to create a positive patient experience

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Proficiency in dental radiography and digital X-rays
• Understanding of infection control and OSHA standards
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
