Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and process dental X-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic treatment
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling to keep things running smoothly

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent
• Valid X-ray certification and compliance with state regulations
• Experience in orthodontic settings is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and a welcoming demeanor
• Ability to work the afternoon shift (12:30 PM - 8:00 PM)

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and dental equipment
• Proficiency with dental software such as Denticon
• Understanding of dental terminology and patient care best practices
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Commitment to infection control and sterilization protocols
