Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms for each patient
• Assist the orthodontist during exams and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and care
• Take and process dental X-rays as directed to support diagnosis and treatment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care to promote healthy smiles
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with appointment scheduling
• Keep the office organized and uphold strict safety and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Orthodontic certification is required for this role
• Previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred
• Strong communication skills to interact warmly with patients and families
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinical environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
• Proficiency in dental radiography (X-rays)
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization techniques
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
