Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive dental hygiene care, including cleanings and patient education
• Perform periodontal assessments and document patient conditions accurately
• Administer topical treatments and fluoride applications as needed
• Collaborate with a dedicated dental assistant to ensure efficient patient flow
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable clinical environment following infection control protocols
• Ensure a positive patient experience with a friendly, professional demeanor

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of New Jersey
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to work a Saturday shift from 11:45 AM to 6:00 PM
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced dental office with an assistant
• Minimal experience required; recent graduates are encouraged to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization standards
• Patient education and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Time management skills to handle 30-minute appointments efficiently
