Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care to patients, including scaling, polishing, and preventive treatments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed, ensuring accurate diagnostics.
• Document patient care and treatment plans in accordance with office protocols.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive and efficient patient experience.
• Maintain a clean and sterile environment, following all infection control guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Wisconsin
• Current CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
• Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and patient care abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in a dental office setting is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Knowledge of dental x-ray techniques and safety protocols
• Familiarity with dental software and patient records
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to build trust with patients
• Understanding of HIPAA and infection control standards
