Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist orthodontists during patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and orthodontic care
- Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
- Provide exceptional patient care and comfort throughout their visit
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification/license in Maryland (or ability to obtain)
- Prior experience as an orthodontic dental assistant preferred
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
- Familiarity with dental software and patient management systems
- Radiography and X-ray processing skills
- Sterilization and infection control best practices
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
