Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists with patient examinations and orthodontic procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and maintain a clean clinical environment
• Take and develop dental X-rays and digital impressions
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and proper care of braces and aligners
• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans
• Support the team in delivering a positive and comfortable patient experience

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training
• Current X-ray certification (Radiology Health and Safety)
• Experience in orthodontics is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and team members
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and orthodontic procedures
• Proficiency with dental software and digital patient records
• Excellent chairside manner and patient care focus
• Attention to infection control and sterilization standards
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a dental team
