Shift Type: Day shift, 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist oral surgeons during surgical procedures and treatments
- Prepare and sterilize operatory rooms and dental instruments
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Provide compassionate patient care and clear post-operative instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Current Maryland Dental Assistant certification or a valid credential
- BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Prior experience in oral surgery or dental assisting is a plus
- Ability to work flexibly on a per diem basis and adapt to different clinic settings
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of dental terminology, instruments, and surgical procedures
- Strong communication skills and a welcoming bedside manner
- Proficiency with dental software and patient record management
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection prevention standards
