Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs before, during, and after oral surgery procedures to ensure their safety and comfort
• Assist with the administration of nitrous oxide and IV sedation, helping patients feel at ease throughout their treatment
• Take panoramic X-rays to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
• Support oral surgeons during wisdom tooth extractions and other surgical procedures by preparing instruments and maintaining a sterile field
• Provide clear post-operative instructions to patients and their caregivers to promote smooth recovery

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a dental assistant, preferably in oral surgery or a surgical specialty
• Certification in Dental Radiography (or willingness to obtain) for taking panoramic X-rays
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and patient assessment
• Comfortable working with nitrous oxide and IV sedation
