Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist oral surgeons during wisdom tooth extraction and other surgical procedures
• Take and monitor patient vital signs including blood pressure and pulse oximetry
• Administer nitrous oxide and assist with IV sedation as directed
• Capture panoramic X-rays accurately for diagnostic purposes
• Provide clear post-operative instructions to patients

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training
• Experience with nitrous oxide and IV sedation
• Proficiency in panoramic X-ray acquisition
• Background in oral surgery or wisdom tooth procedures
• Ability to monitor vital signs and provide patient support
• Excellent communication and patient education skills

• Taking vital signs (BP, Pulse O2)
• Nitrous oxide and IV sedation techniques
• Panoramic X-ray imaging
• Wisdom tooth surgery assistance
• Post-operative care and instructions
