Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care under the supervision of RNs and physicians
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and adjust care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and ensure compliance with safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Maine
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Ability to pass background checks and comply with facility requirements
• Willingness to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a documented medical/religious exemption

• Knowledge of nursing care principles and practices
• Strong observation and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation
