Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Wednesday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (30-minute meal break)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents in a rehabilitation setting
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered, while monitoring patient responses and adjusting care as needed
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning

Qualifications

  • Active LPN or RN license in the state of New Mexico or a compact/multi-state license
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
  • Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation is a plus
  • COVID-19 vaccination series completed or a documented religious/medical exemption approved by the employer

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong medication administration and dosage calculation skills
  • Patient assessment, care planning, and clinical documentation
  • Knowledge of wound care, infection control, and safety protocols
  • Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with residents, families, and team members
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a new environment and work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
