Licensed Practical Nurse / Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation Center
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Start Date: 09-21-2026
End Date: 12-13-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Wednesday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (30-minute meal break)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents in a rehabilitation setting
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, while monitoring patient responses and adjusting care as needed
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
- Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license in the state of New Mexico or a compact/multi-state license
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation is a plus
- COVID-19 vaccination series completed or a documented religious/medical exemption approved by the employer
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong medication administration and dosage calculation skills
- Patient assessment, care planning, and clinical documentation
- Knowledge of wound care, infection control, and safety protocols
- Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with residents, families, and team members
- Ability to adapt quickly to a new environment and work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
